Sunday October 25, 2009

Top of the Afternoon to you!!!

We greet you in Divine Love, our prayer is that you and your family are walking under an open heaven!!!!

We started this Sunday off at 9:00am with new member's class. Sunday School started promptly at 9:30am. I am so excited that our Sunday School is growing. Please help me welcome a new teacher to our Sunday School staff, Sister Paulette Gabriel is teaching our babies,(class #1) 0-6 years of age. Of course Class #1 won our Banner attendance and Class #3(Teen Class) won our Banner Offering.

Of course this was our 4th Sunday Worship which means our youth were in charge of the service. Everybody did an awesome job. Our Youth Dance Ministry dance today and did an awesome job. I was so very proud to see little Brother Brondon Harris on the Dance Ministry, he did an awesome job.

Last week I concluded the series I had been preaching for the last two months, "Re-Laying the Foundations. So this morning I stood and gave the State of the Church Address. Of course I think it was beneficial to the family of the New Beginning Church, but we shall see if they acted on it.

That evening at 4:00pm we celebrated our 2nd year church anniversary. Pastor Farnsworth Coleman and the New Birth Outreach Ministries was our very Special Guest. Please let me thank God for Sister Jennifer Rudd and Sister Leona Brunson for doing an awesome job of leading our congregation in this special event. I am so Godly proud of both of these young ladies.

The New Birth Outreach praise team brought our church to another level with the Praise & Worship. Our Deacons, the Deacons of the New Beginning Church did an awesome job with the Devotional Period(You go Brother Harris).

There was a part in the service where we remembered to persons who were apart of this ministry and have passed from this life, Sister Mary Bolling and Sister Shayla Owens. We lit candles for them and prayed with and for their families. We also had a part in the service where we recognize the generations in our church. Persons who were born before 1946 wore black, persons born from 1946 to 1965 wore brown, persons born from 1966-1982 wore grey and persons born from 1983- present wore red. We played a gospel song that was popular in that generation in let those generations represent their generation it was a blast!!!(thanks Sister Harris).

Pastor Coleman preached from I Chronicles 29:1-3,7,18-19 and his subject was: "A pattern for provision for the vision!! He told us that we have to use God's pattern as our blueprint!!! It was an on time word for the house.

After service we sat and ate in fellowship with one another!!!

Thank you Lord for another year!!! If you would like to get a CD or DVD of our 2nd Year Church Anniversary leave your mailing address on here and we will ship one out to you!!!!
