Sunday May 31, 2009

Top of the afternoon to you,
We greet you in Divine Love, our prayer is that you and your family are walking under an open heaven.

This Sunday we started at 9:00am with our New Member's class and Sunday School started at 10:00am. Our Sunday School was a tremendous blessing. Service started at the 11:00am hour. Thank You New Beginning for going after souls these summer months. Our theme for this summer is Each one Reach one, we are believing God for more souls this summer!! Our Combine choir song today, that's our youth and adult choir making the Voices of New Beginning, and man when I tell you they were off the chain, trust me yall, they brought the house down.

We had a bunch of visitors this Sunday sharing with us, so our evangelistic thrust is working!!! Again visitors thank you so much for visiting our church, we pray that there was something said or done that would make you want to come back and visit us again, and when you come back please bring someone with you.

The word came from Genesis 22:1-2 and the subject was "How to tell God Yes" When you have been waiting on a promise and you finally get what you've been waiting for, and as you are enjoying the blessing, God comes and say do away with it!!! WOW!!!! The word was powerful and another soul was added to the family of New Beginning!!!!

Have you ever had a hard time telling God yes, share that moment with us!

That evening at 4:00pm our church travel to the Locust Hill Baptist Church in Midland, Georgia Pastor by our Moderator, Pastor E. Merle Brown. The Mount Calvary Association had a youth fellowship. Our Youth Praise Dancers, Youth Choir, Youth Drama and Youth Debater's had to perform and, I tell you that God has bless New Beginning Missionary Baptist Church with some of the greatest youth this side of heaven!!!

Let me say to our Youth Pastor, Brother Marcus Scott, and his committee, (Sister Leslie Johnson, Sister Nakita Bell, Brother Marvin Churchwell, Brother Rueben Burks, Sister Angela Long) thank you for doing an awesome job with our young people. I am so Godly proud of all of you!! Keep up the good work.

Winning the Lost at any Cost,

JD Johnson
