What we Believe as a Baptist

Top of the Morning to you!!!
We greet you in Divine Love, our prayer is that you and your family are walking under an open heaven!!!
We do apologize for not being able to post on last week, because we were moving into our new facility, but Bible class was back in place this past Wednesday!! Of course we started this Wednesday with New Members Class at 6:00pm and I'm still excited that folks who are uniting with our ministry is very serious about, because they are attending the New Members Class!!! This New Member Class I had to teach 2 lessons because of the week we missed, so we did. The 2 lessons were the Baptist Church and Stewardship. Now there may be some of you out there in blog land who are questioning why are we emphasizing "The Baptist Church" The reason is because we are in an area that have a lot of Methodist Churches and some people were raised in the AME church. So we want to make sure they understand the baptist church!!(AMEN)
In the Baptist Church we talk about the 2 Ordinances 1) Baptism and 2) The Lord's Supper, we also talked about the officers in the church, The Pastor and the Deacons. The last lesson was Stewardship, of Course we shared with our new members the importance of tithing and giving a liberal offering, and getting involve in the Ministry.
For our Bible Class lesson we reviewed the 6 Articles we already gave out so that everybody can be on the same page. Tonight we gave out Article 7 and 8. Here they go Article 7 Of Grace in Regeneration: We believe that, in order to be saved, sinners must be regenerated or born again; that regeneration consists in giving a holy disposition to the mind; that it is effected, in a manner above our comprehension, by the power of the Holy Spirit in connection with divine truth, so as to secure our voluntary obedience to the gospel; and that its proper evidence appears in the holy fruits of repentance and faith and newness of life.
Article 8 Of Repentance and Faith: We believe that repentance and faith are sacred duties, and also inseparable graces, wrought in our souls by the regenerating Spirit of God; whereby, being deeply convinced of our guilt, danger and helplessness, and of the way of salvation by Christ, we turn to God with unfeigned contrition, confession and supplication for mercy; at the same time heartily receiving the Lord Jesus Christ as our Prophet, Priest and King, and relying on him alone as the only and all-sufficient Saviour.
Of course bible class was a blessing and members are showing up to learn!!! Thank you New Beginning for being a informed church!!!!

Winning the Lost at any Cost,

  1. I'm glad to see the ministry growing. I hope you didn't keep them til midnight cramming 2 classes into one. you know you could have had a make up session. and shorten the vision I still can't get. just messing with you. Keep the faith, praise him in the good and bad, with the timbrel and dance, praise him in advance, and p.u.s.h. This week I am praying that he not just do it for you or me but for WE. Rell
